What data is processed?

The following sections provide you with an overview of the personal data we process on our website and the legal basis for the processing.

Server log files

In order to ensure the security and functionality of our websites, we need to collect and evaluate access data (website visited, time of access, browser, operating system, IP address). In the event of a security incident, this data is used to determine and eliminate the cause. The data will be stored for 12 months for this purpose in accordance with Art 6 para 1 lit f DSGVO.

Contact forms

In the course of processing your inquiry about our products, we process the data that you provide to us in the contact form. If your inquiry also concerns our partner products, your data may be forwarded to these partners in order to answer your inquiry. In this case, the processing is based on Art 6 (1) lit b and f DSGVO, because it serves to initiate a contract with us and is in our legitimate interest. Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary to process your request.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. There are two main types of cookies: technically necessary cookies, which are required for the operation of a website, and technically unnecessary cookies, which collect usage statistics, for example. While technically necessary cookies are automatically stored on your computer or device based on our legitimate interest, technically unnecessary cookies require your consent.

Some of the cookies used on our website originate from service providers in third countries (especially the USA). It is therefore possible that some of your data (e.g. IP address, usage behavior, technical data) will be transferred to the USA. According to the Court of Justice of the European Union, there is currently no adequate level of data protection in the USA. When using cookies from service providers from third countries, we therefore obtain your express consent as part of the cookie banner.

You can revoke your consent for the use of technically unnecessary cookies and cookies from third countries at any time here: Revoke consent

Google Analytics

To enable us to evaluate and improve our website, we use functions of the Google Analytics web analysis service of Google LLC, a company based in the USA. Google Analytics allows us to generate statistical reports on visitor activity and improve our content and website performance. In the context of the use of Google Analytics, your IP address is transmitted to Google and generally retained for 26 months. The use of Google Analytics requires a technically unnecessary cookie, which is only stored with your explicit consent. For more information, see Google ‘s privacy policy and Google Analytics.

Leadfeeder

Leadfeeder is a web analytics service and evaluation tool operated by Liidio Oy / Leadfeeder (Mikonkatu 17 C, 00100 Helsinki). For this purpose, Leadfeeder collects the IP address of visitors. Leadfeeder uses a cookie called “_lfa” and has an expiration date of two years from when it was first set. The cookie can only be set for this website domain and requires your consent.

Newsletter

So that we can inform you about news in product versions, you have the possibility to order our newsletter. By ordering the newsletter, you agree that all data provided may be processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter. You can revoke this consent at any time and without giving reasons by clicking the unsubscribe link, which can be found in every newsletter. If you want to change your data, you can use the corresponding change data link in the newsletter.

For the dispatch and anonymized analysis of our newsletters, we use the e-mail dispatch service mailworx.

This data will be processed exclusively within the European Union and will not be passed on to third parties.

Your rights

When we process personal data about you, you have the following rights under applicable European and Austrian data protection laws:

  • Information
  • Correction
  • Deletion
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data transmission
  • Opposition

If you believe that the processing of your data is in breach of data protection, you are free to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, telephone: +43 1 52 152-0, e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at).
