Nova Find optimizes the lost and found process. Employees of the lost and found office record and manage the lost and found items in the backend system, while passengers report their loss online via the Nova Find search mask.<\/p>\n

The Nova Find search mask is integrated into the BVG online presence. The categories and features specifically designed for transit agencies allow passengers to quickly record their loss reports in the level of detail they need. These are compared in real time with existing finds reports. With a click in the backend, employees of the lost and found office then inform the passenger about the success.<\/p>\n

The backend system, operated by employees of the lost and found office, is the heart of Nova Find. Find reports entered there are also matched in real time with existing loss reports: the matching algorithm presents the most suitable loss report to the find report just entered. Subsequently, Nova Find communicates with the searcher on the preferred communication channel – in strict compliance with the design specifications.<\/p>\n

The Berlin transport authority sees clear advantages in Nova Find. In addition to automated end-customer communication, the online loss registration in particular relieves the employees of the lost and found office!
