Nova Find – digital lost property software enables faster processing at ÜSTRA and regiobus

From now on it will be easier for passengers of ÜSTRA and regiobus to get lost objects back. Both companies trust in the digital lost property software Nova Find and thus rely on a central processing of lost property.

Nova Find gives passengers the opportunity to report lost property online: via the websites uestra.de and regiobus.de, they can now digitally record lost objects on buses or trains. As soon as an object with a suitable description is handed in at the lost property office, the passenger receives a notification and can collect their lost property on the spot.

“At ÜSTRA and regiobus we are currently designing our processes more efficiently and effectively with a joint digitalisation strategy. With regard to lost property, we are now able to guarantee faster and more customer-friendly processing of lost property reports thanks to a new digital solution,” says ÜSTRA Executive Director and regiobus Managing Director Elke van Zadel.

Especially for passengers of regiobus it will be much easier to get lost items back. From now on there is only one contact point for the entire regiobus area. The lost property office previously used exclusively by ÜSTRA is now also available to regiobus lost property recipients. This means that all items can be collected centrally in Hanover’s city centre. The individual lost property offices of the regiobus companies are thus no longer necessary.

“By merging the five regiobus lost property offices into the former ÜSTRA lost property office in the city centre of Hanover, we are offering passengers a joint collection point for lost property from buses and trains with attractive accessibility. By combining digital collection and a central lost property office, we are significantly shortening the retrieval process for our customers, but also for our employees,” explains Denise Hain, ÜSTRA board member and managing director of regiobus.

Thanks to the digital lost property software Nova Find, both the return rates of lost items and the satisfaction of passengers will be increased in the future.
