“With over 1,600 loss reports in the first month, BVG started in full force right from the beginning.”Viktoria Handler, Projekt Manager Nova Find
Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) started to use Nova Find in May 2021
After a successful introduction, all lost property office employees of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe are now active in Nova Find. The advantages are obvious!
Nova Find optimizes the lost property process. Staff in the lost property office record and manage lost property in the backend system, while passengers report their lost items online via the Nova Find search mask.
The Nova Find search mask
The Nova Find search mask is integrated into BVG’s website. The categories and features are designed for transport companies and enable passengers to quickly enter their loss reports with the required level of detail. The lost items are compared with existing lost property reports in real time. With one click in the backend, the staff of the lost property office informs the passenger about a successful match!
The Nova Find backend
The backend system, operated by staff from the lost property office, is the heart of Nova Find. Lost items are compared with existing lost property reports in real time: the matching algorithm presents the most suitable lost property report for the item just entered. Nova Find then communicates with passengers via the preferred communication channel – in strict compliance with the design specifications.
The advantages of Nova Find
BVG sees clear advantages in Nova Find! In addition to automated end-customer communication, the online recording of lost property reduces the workload of the lost property office staff! Over 1,600 loss reports were recorded online – during the first month! This underlines the importance of this new service!
